Pool sandwich

Harrison's plan for today was to spend the morning in the pool, go to the cinema after lunch and then come back to the villa for another session in the pool.  So that's basically what we did!

We went to see 'Spy' at the Cinepolis and all enjoyed it, although Jason Statham's character couldn't string a sentence together without swearing :-(. 

Lunch in the cinema because we spent too long in the pool earlier and nearly missed the film!

We took the scenic route down the back roads back to the villa. They were virtually deserted and framed an interesting collection of properties. We saw really basic shacks, large plots of land containing just a tin garage, mobile homes, plush new builds and everything in between. 

Back at the villa, Harrison put his wet swimming trunks back on and we got back into the pool. I did contemplate giving the surface a quick clean first but as we were only going to be in the water for a relatively short time, I decided against it. Think I will inspect the whole pool properly from now on though.  When Bernard came out to join us, he noticed that Harrison and I weren't the only swimmers in the pool.  He'd spotted a smallish snake in the shallow end right where I'd just been laying!! Thankfully with one scoop of the net it was out and being set free on the grass outside of our mesh covering.
